HAIR EXTENSIONS ???? please help GIRLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

if you want extensions you MUST get them done by either

Audrey Kitching

or

Christine Burton (you can search both of them on myspace)

if you get them done by anyone else your head will itch and they will look terrible.

there are all sorts of extensions, i'm sure if you talk to either of them and tell them what kind of hair you have, they will tell you what kind of extentions are good for you.

no, it is NOT bad for you!!

good luck with the extensions, have fun !!

HAIR EXTENSIONS ???? please help GIRLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

yeah I want hair extensions too I think it depends on the type of extensions u get!!! %26lt;3

HAIR EXTENSIONS ???? please help GIRLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Hair extensions aren't bad.

HAIR EXTENSIONS ???? please help GIRLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

make sure you go to a good place to get them..and it wont be bad

HAIR EXTENSIONS ???? please help GIRLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Hair extensions are not completely bad for you. It depends on the condition of your hair and how well you take of it.

Usually they shouldn't be any probelms after you get hair extensions.

If you have really thin hair though, it's more prone for your hair to "fall off" because it extended your hair making it even more thinner.

Hope you look good for Christmas if you get hair extensions!

HAIR EXTENSIONS ???? please help GIRLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

why would they be bad for you?

Regurding Hair Extensions...?

I need some information about hair extensions...

How much do they cost round about %26amp; where is the best place to buy them. I live in the UK.

%26amp; Also, which ones are best, Clip In Extensions or Glue In Extensions?

%26amp;%26amp; How do you put in clip ins? is it just how it looks or is it really awkward to do?

Thankks xxx

Regurding Hair Extensions...?

clip in extensions, buy them on ebay less than half the price, the glue ruins ur hair, can leave u with baldpatches

Regurding Hair Extensions...?

idk

Regurding Hair Extensions...?

are you freaken kidding me i would love to live in uk can u im me or something i wanna talk to you about stuff u live in the uk u can find hair extentions ANYWHERE

Regurding Hair Extensions...?

http://www.headkandy.com/documents/65_li... ..

i got mines there and i like paying a little extra so that you can get exactly what you are looking for..! mines where 鎷?5 .. clip in are defintitly best..!

but if you are not willing to pay that much either ..

http://www.sallybeauty.com/ or if you are just looking them for one nite..? peacocks..! :D

Regurding Hair Extensions...?

Hair extensions can be quite costly and you get them professionally done.... my mom is a stylist so i will have to ask and get back to you with some prices.

Regurding Hair Extensions...?

Hey well i got hair extensions with clips and there simple to put in :) the glue one is harder because when you wash your hair the glue also comes out so you have to reapply, myn cost 23 pound includin the clips and myn are 100% real hair. I got myn from xtras. When you put clip in ones in you section a bit of your hair up at the back and clip them in then cover them with the rest of your hair. Its pretty straight foward. Depends how much you are willing to pay for them as well..the glue is expensive! xx

p.s i would get them from a shop so you can see what your buying, match the colour to your hair. hope this helps

Regurding Hair Extensions...?

I have 18" fusion(glue) hair extension, you can purchase the hair from any good hair dressers or Wholesalers, try looking in the Yellow pages, I paid around 鎷?50.00 for mine and they are Human hair extension, however I have used clip in's they are easy to put in place as long as they are good quality, you buy rubbish they will look cheap. Good Luck

Regurding Hair Extensions...?

Hi there, The best way to look for extensions is to go to www.google.com and type in hair extensions they come up with loads and then click to see the cheapest! i have both extensions. It depends how long you want them in for. Clip in ones are good if you have the time to do them everymorning and take them out everynight and also for one off things like weddings etc. Glue in ones stay in for around a couple of weeks if you do it yourself i do mine all the time. But the only thing is that however good you are at gluing them in your always going to have glue stuck in your hair it has never really bothered me to be honest after a couple of days the glue falls out anyway. Your gonna pay more for clip in ones around 鎷?0-50 depending on the length that you want it. Glue in ones with glue cost around 鎷?0-40 also depending of length. Clip in ones are quite easy to do. All you have to do is seperate your hair all the way around and clip them in as simple as that but can take a while getting the parting straight. Hope this helps

Regurding Hair Extensions...?

the cost all depends on how long and how many you get.

clip-ins are the best.

they are easy to put in and can take them out whenever you want to.

the glue ones make your hair a mess and my friend told me hers hurt so much and made her scalp itchy.

heres some website you might find useful.

the first link will show you how to clip some in at the bottom of the page when you click some extentions.

i hope this helped!

Regurding Hair Extensions...?

I bought some clip in ones off ebay a few weeks ago for about 鎷?0. I think theyre okay - though i dont think they suit me that much. But even so, id reccomend them more than glue in - as glue in can ruin your hair. Clip in's are extremely easy to put in, they litrelly slide in under a layer of your hair. You can watch vids on how to do it on google video or youtube.

If youre buying off a website, make sure you read the small print as some people wont give you a money back garuntee if they are the wrong colour or such.

Sorry for the very long answer!

Hope i helped

Good luck

xx

Regurding Hair Extensions...?

Hi,

I have clip - in extentsions and I think they are WICKED!! They are really easy to put it once you have done it a couple of times. Its takes me abotu 10 mins. All you have to do is slide the clip downwards into the root of the part where you want to put it and press down and that will make the clipp hold onto the hair. I love them!! You can get them on stalls or from little shops , I got mine from a afro caribean-asian hair product shop for 20 pounds then the clips came to about 5 pound for bout 12 it depends how big/small your head is. If you ask in shop they will help you and tell you how to put them in. I live in the UK. I have the Human Hair ones and wear them alot, I curled them once for a party and curled my own hair and they blended together well they are really good I recommend you buying some. If you want to know more regarding them just email me or something =] x

Regurding Hair Extensions...?

Hi, i am a big hair extension fan as i am a dancer, love to have long hair, now the prices depend on how long you want your hair and what sort of hair you want, you can get real human hair which you can wash, blowdry, straighten etc which i would say are the best ,all the other hair iv found tends to be quite low quality, in this instance you get what you pay for!!the longer the hair the more expensive its going to be, i have black hair and usually go for 20"-22" this usually costs me(just for the hair) between 40-60 pounds but lasts for ages if you look after it.

Also i have had my extensions glued and stuck in before, having it glued is ok if you want long hair all the time but thats the only thing it is good for, it makes your head really itchy all the time, your head hurts (like when you tie your hair up too tight???) from carrying all the extra weight and when you go to take it out there is not much you can do to prevent it ripping a good chunk of your hair out and leaving glue stuck in your hair and your scalp for weeks, even months so i wouldn't advise glueing it in

Having the extensions clipped in is a lot easier, you can take them out when you go to bed, you can put them in whenever you want and they will not damage your hair in anyway, if you do clip them in you will obviously have to buy the clips which cost around 2pound each get as many as you feel you need, i only have 3 but my extensions are just one thick layer, makes it so much easier

And the cheapest place to buy your extensions are from e bay but do go for quality and get the 100% human hair extensions

I hope this has helped, but seriously i would not glue them in, you'll regret it, i did when i had half my hair missing!!! lmao

Good luck =D

What color hair extensions should i get?? READ FOR MORE INFO =]?

ok well,

im 13yrs old, and im going into the eigth grade right after summer holidays.

i was thinking about getting some hair extensions, but im not quite sure what colors to get.

i have medium toned skin. black, shoulder length hair. with bangs right under my nose length. and i wanted to get more black extensions to make my hair about under the chest area in length. i was thinking about getting a bleach blonde and fire red kinda color extensions with it too.

or even a bleach blonde, and purple, like a bright violet color, because i saw in amagazine these coloured extensions on black hair, and it looked really good.

so yeah i was just wondering what colors should i get ??

What color hair extensions should i get?? READ FOR MORE INFO =]?

for your skin tone.....go for some black some brown and a few copper and gold but dont overdo the gold

What color hair extensions should i get?? READ FOR MORE INFO =]?

well i think you should go for it but i like blue streaks or red streaks

What color hair extensions should i get?? READ FOR MORE INFO =]?

I think u should get black extentions with red.

What color hair extensions should i get?? READ FOR MORE INFO =]?

if i were u i would get the color burgundy.

What color hair extensions should i get?? READ FOR MORE INFO =]?

i think you should get brown hair color under your shoulder

If I were you, I'd get the black extensions, but with it, I'd get 2 thin blond highlights right around my face, but have people somewhat notice them, but not make them too... weird. Then, for the rest of my hair, I'd get kinda thin, kinda chunky fire red and then the violet color you said (same thing with it as the fire red streaks). Hope this helps you.

What color hair extensions should i get?? READ FOR MORE INFO =]?

I don't know about extensions.. but I dye the underlayer of my hair black. It is sweet. =) I would say bright pink under your black. My friend did it.. and if you choose the right pink.. and I mean BRIGHT pink, it looks freaking awesome and not skanky at all.

What color hair extensions should i get?? READ FOR MORE INFO =]?

i would get either red, blue, or reallllllllllllly light pastel pink

What color hair extensions should i get?? READ FOR MORE INFO =]?

Do not put colored extentions in your hair at age13 because it can get your thrown out of school.

Get beach blonde highlights. But if u really want to try something cool %26amp; new try this:

i think you should get fire red, that would look nice in your hair, i'm sure. fire red looks really good in black hair, i think. so go for it, be bold!

Hair extensions ruined my hair help.?

I had hair extensions a year ago i kept them in for 5 months and after taking them out ,i found my hair had become very fragile and thin it now looks terrible and i have to wear it tied up all the time, had anyone else had problems from extensions and if so did your hair eventually get back to normal?

Hair extensions ruined my hair help.?

I had them for about 6 months but changed them every month. They were such a hassle! My hair thinned out majorly because of the glue. I ended up with a million baby hairs now growing back in. Sure, it was fun to have long full hair, but totally not worth it when you take them out. My advice to you is condition the crap out of your hair! Buy a conditioning mask and use it once or twice a week. Really baby your hair for the next month or so. Good luck!

Hair extensions ruined my hair help.?

Don't worry - it'll get back to normal, and depending on your hair it will in 3 - 8 weeks. For hair that is fuller and doesn't look as thin, try voluminizing shampoo and conditioners, use a voluminizing spray, and add lots of mousse to your roots and rest of your hair before blow drying. It worked for me! Also, try clip-on extensions next time - they're just as good as regular extensions, but not as damaging. Good luck!

Hair extensions ruined my hair help.?

i havent had that problem but my cousin has it will get back to normal

Can Hair extensions be styled?

I'm thinking for getting hair extensions done, however at times I would like to tie up my hair. Can the extensions be seen when hair is styled up? Or will it look natural? I have heard conflicting opinions form diff. stylists. Does any one who have had hair extensions share their opinion. Cos I wouldnt want to get them if I only can have it in one style.

Can Hair extensions be styled?

It depends on who your stylist is and how experienced she is with extensions. If your hair is long enough to be pulled up in a ponytail now, you won't be able to see the tracks IF they are hidden beneath your hair and hairline.

Someone inexperienced may put your tracks along the nape ofyour neck...those you definitely can see.

Can Hair extensions be styled?

it depends on the hair and the way it's put in. it's better to have the hair sewn in. it's also best that u get human hair, this way u can curl it or use a straightening iron on it.

Hair extensions + Infected hair follicle + Boil = Bald Spot on Scalp. Help!?

I got Hair extensions about 2 months ago, and it caused me to have an Infected hair follicle which caused a huge boil with puss on top of my scalp..The boil went away when I started taking antibiotics. But Now I got a Bald Spot the size of a nickel on my scalp..

My Question is; Is the Bald Spot ganna grow it? I looked at it and theres hair growing around it but there are no hair growing in the bald part .Im Only 22 I dont wanna be left with a bald spot for the rest of my life..Please help!

Hair extensions + Infected hair follicle + Boil = Bald Spot on Scalp. Help!?

If it has been any length of time and you don't see fuzz, it probably won't grow back. The follicle may have been destroyed there. There is a product called Root Stimulator Temple Balm, it is for bald temples, you may want to give that a try. I comes with a little brush like a tooth brush to stimulate the scalp.

I know how to do hair extensions, i just need a little help from someone who usually does a full hea

okay, so i already know how to put in extensions. i dont need help with that. the problem im having is, when i put my hair extensions in, i use hair glue, because i just cant seem to braid my own head. well, when i put in my glued extensions, i can only go up so high before my tracks start to show. and my natural hair is layered basically from top to bottom. tons of layers. how can i add extensions to the top part of my head without the track showing?

i dont need answers telling me to just grow my hair out... im not dumb, i know i should... i just rather not wait. i need instructions or videos or whatever kind of help i can get for my problem. =]

I know how to do hair extensions, i just need a little help from someone who usually does a full head of them.

the only advise i can give you is to cut off the track and try to glue them in piece by piece using like a q~tip so the glue dosen't get on your hands. Good luck and srry I couldn't help more.

Hair extensions.. please help!?

I bought hair extensions yesterday at Sallys, and the girl there told me it would be cheaper if I but the extensions and the clips separate and then sewed the clips on, so that's what I did (as opposed to getting the hair that already has the clips on it). It took me forever and was NOT that easy, but I cut the hair (into sections) and then sewed two clips on one of the pieces.

My problem is.. #1 they don't really seem to stay in that well.. and #2, how do I put more than one "layer" on and have them stay? Like if I cut the hair into sections and sew clips on each section, it's not going to work for me to just clip layer upon layer upon layer.. it won't stay.

PLEASE HELP!

Hair extensions.. please help!?

Yeah these things are tricky, the hair clips themselves are small which does not help at all. If your looking for a layered look, you want the hair towards the top of your head shorter the toward the nape and neckline area.. if your hair is already layered, you want to cut the the same or shorter than the shortest layer you have, then work your way down.. if your pulling your hair up and you want them really tight, there's no reason you cant secure them with bobby pins in an x shape. they wont budge. The reason the are small is most of the time people only get them for a few here or there for affect. You could always hot glue the to the hair clip to, just dont use alot, try to keep the seam small in between..

Hair extensions.. please help!?

Well, i'm obviously not an expert, because i've never had them. But personally, I really suggest that you go back to the hair salon, or where you purchased them, and ask them about this. Because it's your hair , and it's precious. See, if they can clip them in for you, or fix them.

I've been considering clips-in's really seriously.

I just had some questions about the cost and such.

my e-mail is shell_15@hotmail.com

I just need to talk to someone about this, before I make the decision to get them, if you could get back to me that would be great. Sorry, I can't be much of a help, but I wish you the best of luck ! :)

Hair extensions or dye to get the hair I want?

I want like, emo/scene hair. I know that sounds stupid, so don't put stupid comments like emos suck.

My hair is just below my shoulders, and highlighted pretty blonde. I want the underpart to be black, but my mom doesnt want me to dye it black because black is hard to get out of your hair.

Should i just get black extensions and put them at the base of my neck so i can get longer hair and black underpart? Would that look right?

Serious answers only. Pictures and personal experiences would be appreciated!

Hair extensions or dye to get the hair I want?

Hair extensions, Cinderella or fusion....braided?

Does anybody know the best method of putting in hair extensions? A few years ago i had the big weft of hair glued in but it was hot on my head and stiff, u couldnt pull your hair up, so i wanna try the individual strands because it seems that is better for pulling hair up and more freedom. From what i have researched so far it seems like the Cinderella extensions is what im looking for because i dont really want it braided in, whats the difference between cinderella and fusion? which is the best price and what does it usually cost? because i dont want to spend a fortune. anybody have any advice or pics? and also which is least damaging?

Hair extensions, Cinderella or fusion....braided?

One of my personnal favourites is Micro Rings (links). I know a few people who have them and they look real. I didn't notice till she told me they where micro rings. I couldn't believe it, they looked so real and pretty.

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/HUMAN-HAIR-EXTENS...

Even though that is an Ebay link, it tells you how to put them in and what they look like.

I've never heard of the Cinderella method, though i pressume that would be quite expensive....if its one strand on one strand.

What kinds of hair extensions don't damage the hair.?

I am a Caucasian/Hispanic woman %26amp; thanks to some medications I was on for a while I have VERY fine hair that won't grow long. I'm off the meds now so the hair will grow back normal but it will take a LONG time to get it long and thick again. I want to get extensions but I hear that the wrong extensions will actually damage that new hair that is JUST trying to grow and I don't need that! A glance at the local websites offering extensions is confusing. They all claim "their" method of extensions (braiding, sewing, fusing, etc.) wont cause damage - but all the "other" methods do. They can't all be right. If I'm going to damage my hair, I'd rather continue to use "falls" or half-wigs. Any advice is helpful. Thanks!

What kinds of hair extensions don't damage the hair.?

take hair vitamins they really help.... DONT DO EXTENSIONS OF ANY KIND..and everything u do 2 your hair right now will damage It so lets help it by not adding to the problem

What kinds of hair extensions don't damage the hair.?

I am a butition, and the only hair extentions that don't damage hair is the ones where they are sewn in, but it really depends on the butition, most people don't do it right, and end up leaving your hair damaged. so what you should do is actually find someone who actually knows what they are doing. i had sewn in weaves for a year, and thats al it took for my hair to grow it is now actually healthier than ever.

What kinds of hair extensions don't damage the hair.?

I have used the kind that you just glue to your hair, they don't stay in as long as the other methods, but they come out easy and you can re-use the hair if you want. Just glue them to the hair close to your scalp and when you want them out or when they start to fall out you just use the remover oil and shampoo and POOF! they are out. I have had some braided into my hair as well and this doesn't hurt as bad either.

What kinds of hair extensions don't damage the hair.?

oh hell no whatever you do NEVER PUT GLUE IN YOUR HAIR it is the worse thing you can ever do to your hair. its just gonna make it fall out more. get a lace front wig like beyonce or tyra banks. it will be the best for you. anything else is seriously going to dmanage your hair even more

What kinds of hair extensions don't damage the hair.?

Here is an excellent site with some wonderful options 4 U.

What kinds of hair extensions don't damage the hair.?

Try a set of our clip-in extensions. They're easy to put in, easy to maintain, and you can remove and apply them by yourself and whenever you want! It has become on of our customers favorite item!

Hair extensions?!?

Okay so whithin this year i cut almost 10 inches of my hair off. First i got 5 inches of and it was past my shoulders with layers it was cute. then i didnt want layers anymore so my hair dresser cut it! i didn't think it would be so short! It was 2 inches past my ears! I figured it would all grow back in the summer. wrong its only grown 1 inch! So i want to get extensions heres the thing. I have natural really curl hair and i straighten it alot. So i was thinking before i got it chooped of that i would get it pro straightend cause it would take me 2 hours!

so should i....

1) get hair pro straight and get straight extentions ?

or...

2) get curly extensions, but can i straighten them?

please help. school almost here and ima be a freshman

thnxs!!!!

Hair extensions?!?

well if u have curly hair you should get curly extensions. i got extensions and the girl that did them for me told me to get the kind that you have. even though u would straighten then every day say its humid and ur hair starts to get curly then ur extensions are still straight. or if u go swimming and u get out of the pool and some of ur hair is curly and some of it is straight how retarded will that look? and i know someone that had their hair pro straightened and it looks funny cuz it starts growing out and then ur roots r curly but the rest of the hair isnt. and its rly expensive.

Hair extensions?!?

most extensions cannot be straightened, they will often sizzle and fall out.

I would get curly extensions.

or just let it as it is.

It's only hair.

Hair extensions?!?

STRAIGHT HAIR EXTENSIONS BECAUSE THEY LOOK NICER.%26amp;YOU CAN CURL IT WHENEVER YOU WANT!=]

Hair extensions?!?

I just recently got extensions, I love mine, see my hair is wavey so i got wet n wavy hair to put in and I straighten it i curl it, so no do not get you hair pro straightend, jusy get the extensions and style like normal!!!

Hair extensions?!?

Hair extensions are great. I have them and Love it. I would suggest starting with straight hair. That way you can style your own hair and the extensions however you want.

I have naturally curly hair and it is a pain to straighten your own hair in between your extensions.

Good luck.

Can Hair extensions be styled?

Hair extensions! (details inide)?

Okay so I really want hair extensions for Christmas. Here's the thing. I want curly/wavy extensons like you would get w/ a body perm, but I have straight hair which refuses to curl. Do I get a body perm first then get the extensions, or just get the extensions. I'm getting real extensions btw, like the ones they glue to your head

Hair extensions! (details inide)?

if you're getting the glued in ones you can ask your stylist or whoever is doing it for you what would be best for you hair, but if you have a lot of extensions put in then it will all blend and look natural, but if it's like a normal amount, then I would recommend getting a body perm first and then getting your extensions.

I have clip-in human hair extensions and if I want to wear my hair curly I can just curl it all in together or let my hair go natural and put a loose curl into my extnesions.

Hair extensions! (details inide)?

I SAY U GET THE PERM FIRST THEN GET THE EXTENSIONS...BUT!!!DONT GLUE THEM IT DOESNT REALLY WORK I WAS IN COSMETOLOGY...GET THEM SEW ON...TRUST ME IT WILL LAST LONGER...

Hair extensions! (details inide)?

whatever u do, dont get glue please!!!!!!! that will damage your hair.

Hair extensions...are they worth it?

Im thinking of getting the really expensive Hair extensions. My hair dresser says it may cost up to 1000 bucks. I have very thin hair and i think it would look good. Im not sure though. Anyone know anything about them???

Hair extensions...are they worth it?

Hello.

If you think that they would look great do it.

Itd be worth it.

But you can also get clipin extentions.

+ itd work out cheaper.

Hair extensions...are they worth it?

I sooooooooooooo think its worth it! if you have thin hair it would look very good

Hair extensions...are they worth it?

they need a lot of upkeep or they look awful. and it is very unnatural. but if its done right it can look amazing--a full transformation. make sure it matches your hair color and texture!

Hair extensions...are they worth it?

I wouldn't get them just curl or straighten your hair maybe it might look a little better!!

Hair extensions...are they worth it?

if you have thin of course get them, just don't get them glued on.

Hair extensions...are they worth it?

If you take care of them they will look really, really good, so yes it is worth it if you have the time and put forth the effort to take care of them.

Hair extensions...are they worth it?

What kind there are alot of different techniques. If you are getting the fusion, the bands, or the glue, they can be very damaging to your hair.

Find someone that does the Malaysian or another sew in method that won't break your fine hair.

Please HELP ME! HAIR EXTENSIONS?!!?

Ok last week I had hair down to the bottom of my back but the ends weren't really even and so I convinced myself that I should cut it to get all my hair evened out, so I cut it to my chin and it looks like poo! I'm tired of crying about it, so it's time to take action. If you could please tell me about the different kinds of hair extensions, how they are put in, how long they last, how much they cost, whether you can dye/style your hair with them in, and how damaging they are to your hair. But please don't tell me about clip-in extensions; I'm NOT interested in those. Also, today at school my friends were talking about iron-in extensions or something...? They said they are just ironed onto the tips of your hair and then you just treat them as normal hair and cut them when your hair grows too long! Is there such a thing?

Serious answers only please.

Thank you for your answers in advance :)

Please HELP ME! HAIR EXTENSIONS?!!?

You've got some good advice here so far... but if you're going to have your extensions done-- rather than try to "do it yourself" or have a friend do it, it's going to be serious money. Especially if you live in urban or big city area. I live in Los Angeles, and I have waist length extensions---- the "micro link" type. The results are beautiful, but it cost $2500.00, including the hair.

Serious money, but you don't want to have someone do it who is an amateur. When it comes to hair extensions, you GET what you pay for. Also, don't forget to factor in maintenance. Extensions aren't a one shot deal. Upkeep is VERY important and has to be done every 2-3 months, (I pay half the original cost for upkeep) and you have to buy new hair as the pieces wear out. Add to these costs the special tools you will need (I purchased a professional hair dryer, flat iron and curling iron) and also hair products. (you MUST use very high quality products) It really adds up quickly.

Micro link's a very simple process-- no glue, heat, or heavy sewn in wefts-- just a metal "crimp" on each small section of hair. It took the stylist 5 hours to accomplish and the look is extremely natural. Most people are surprised that I'm wearing extensions.

All in all, I think it's worth the cost, but to each his own.

I would suggest you do LOTS of internet research before you make a final decision-- you can find SO much info online. Then, make a few consultation appointments with different stylists who do extensions. Make sure they do them all the time... because there are plenty of people who just do them occasionally for the money, and they're not well-experienced.

Hope this was helpful... Best of luck to you!

Please HELP ME! HAIR EXTENSIONS?!!?

If your interested I would only do natural hair extensions that sew in ... they last about 6-8 until your hair starts to grow and then you need to get them re sew in again .... you wash them as normal but you need a leave in condiotioner (since the extensions dont get your hairs natural oils) if you wish to dye them your hair dresser can do that for you

as for cost im not sure exactly .. i think about 40 per strand and you may need about 4-5 strands

they are expensive

Please HELP ME! HAIR EXTENSIONS?!!?

Hello. So my Mother (believe it or not) went through the same thing. I was trying to convience her to do clip ons (like everyone is tellling you) but she went and got REAL hair extensions. long story short, they turned out beautiful. she said the problems were: uncomfortable to sleep in, and wierd to wash. these were the iron in kind. (if you are going to extensions, get the iron in ones!) what they do, is take a little loop and pull your real hair through it, they loop your hair into the metal peice on the extension. they with a basic flat iron, close the metal piece tight. So what I am getting at I guess, is that it is a great idea, non damaging, easy and of course fun. once you buy the stuff, u can almost do it your self or have a friend do it. Good luck!

Please HELP ME! HAIR EXTENSIONS?!!?

There's a few you could do.

Usually girls get it done to their bra line.

Theres ;

track weft

sewn in

fusion

microlink.

I suggest sewn in and track weft, they work the best and easy to handle.

Fusion is getting the extenions glued, and glue is horrible, it hurts to remove %26amp; is hard to take care of.

BUT extensions are pretty exspensive. So do your work on researching.

Please HELP ME! HAIR EXTENSIONS?!!?

Extentions are expensive and time consuming. The "iron on" stuff you are asking about, does exist. They take a bit of hair and glue it on at the ends with a hot iron and glue. It looks more natural then a sewn in or glued in weave. I wouldn't put anything but natural/human hair in my head. This will cost you about $50 a weft, plus the money you have to pay a good hairdresser. Bottom line, at least $600 and 8 hours. Let your hair grow out, unless you have the money and time.

Please HELP ME! HAIR EXTENSIONS?!!?

This is going to be long, but I know you trust to get the answers and facts! Hopefully I don't come off as an amateur promising you great results and failing. Before doing all that i'm going to mention, I was really nervous because i've tried all kinds of extensions and i've been disappointed so many times.. not to mention my hair has been through so much damage. Everyone is different, everyone's hair is different. This is coming from my point of view. Hopefully this will help you out and give you a better feel on what to look for.

I am a professional hair extensionist and i've been doing them for almost a year now. I paid good money for my classes and i'm really excited when people come to me. I know what they are expecting for their money, which I don't charge much because results are more important. I got my first set of extensions done when I was 17 and i've been sold ever since. It's so easy to use them to cover up a bad haircut, or just to achieve some nice length and volume! I've had every type done and there's only one I recommend. The safest, easiest, best way.. and that's bonding. I've had microlinks/shrinkies/linkies and i've done them as well, but it's so time consuming and a very tricky process. I never have clients who request them, and I wouldn't recommend this process, but that's just me. There's a reason why the bonding type extensions are more expensive. Again, this is one persons opinion.

You're going to find a handful of people that will convince to to get sew in and glue in (or fusion) extensions and "swear that they are just the best things ever!!" No! No, no no. Stay far, far away from these!! There's only one kind of hair that those work for. The first kind of extensions I had in was the weave. Weave (sewn in/stitched in/tied in) is good for a week or 2.. sometimes 3. Any longer and you will be up all hours of the night you have them taken out pulling out clumps of your baby fine hair. It happened to me, it's happened to quite a few girls that I do extensions for now. It HAPPENS.. whether you have fantastic hair or not. Anything that is knotted and tied into your existing hair is not going to come out pretty. Just do the math. As for glue, no way. I would never do it, I would never suggest it. Glue and hair don't mix.. neither do glue and water (washing your hair)! People will disagree.. but speaking as a professional (who is not the type to come off as a mrs. know-it-all) I just know what's safe and what's not. All the different kinds of extensions look good going in, but a week later.. you don't want to know.

The problem with weave is, the first couple of days are horrible. It takes 2-3 hours to get the trac in, looks great.. but sleeping is a nightmare.. literally. There is no right way to sleep because your head throbs and pounds. When all of that goes away (3-4 days), it's time for the trac to slip. You'll pay anywhere from $50-100 to have them re-tightened/re-tied. Painful again.. and a waste of money. Some people can find better deals.. I could not. The trac is visible no matter what you do and when you're out in public and you see people who know very well what weave looks like, you will find yourself quite embarassed by being approached by them. I've had so many girls stop me in grocery stores and other places telling me that my trac was showing. Weave is just not good to be left in the hair for the 3-4 months people promise. Your baby fine hair turns into a rats nest when it come's out and people with short, thin hair will lose quite a bit of it.. and it's a scary thing. I was very serious about taking good care of them as my stylist promised me to. I washed when I was told, I trimmed when I was told, etc., etc. It's no use. Just don't do this!

I've shelled out $4000 for the Great Lengths hair extensions, and $2000 for the S.O.Cap extensions. A lot of pocket change, right? They lasted 6+ months and the quality was beyond amazing. These kinds of extension systems use a really high tech bonding machine to apply the individual hairs into your own hair. Amazing experience. Amazing results. But sometimes I didn't have a spare $4000 lying around, or half of that for the upkeep, so I panicked. I hate being without extensions. I find I save 30-40 minutes of getting ready time with them because they are so flexible. Flat iron, curl, crimp, scrunch, you name it.. extensions can do it. When you air dry them, some extensions even possess this amazing, beachy hair like quality. Natural waves. Gorgeous.

This last year, after going through hundreds of hair extensions, I figured it would be a cool thing to go to school for, so I did. I loved it. I learned the secrets that the big name brands (like Great Lengths) use and where the stylists shop for their hair and tools. It's not really top secret. I won't get into trouble for telling anyone anything. I'm from a small town in Texas where probably 80% of the town doesn't know, or have never had hair extensions. If they do, they drive 3+ hours to Fort Worth to have them done. It's hard to find good places in Texas to get extensions done. I'll be moving to California this spring and I know there's hundreds of options there.. luckily!

The best, number one kind of extensions to use are the pre-bonded individual hair extensions. Pre-bonded means pre-glued.. but don't panic!! The glue is wrapped with a protein known as Keratin. Although, with that said, it's hard to find suppliers who tell the truth when they say their tips are Keratin tips. Keratin is an EXCELLENT protein for the hair. Basically, the glue never touches your hair. Some will argue, but i've seen them made.. i've seen the Keratin.. that's just how it goes. It really is amazing. Something so amazing as hair extensions shouldn't damage the hair!! The damaging extensions you will find will sell for cheap, by cheap people. They will be made with cheap quality stuff and the people selling them to you will care less what happens to your regular hair. It's unfair and a waste.

It's really hard to find beauty suppliers that will sell you amazing products, so when I recognized this I figured there had to be a better way to go about buying the products and hair. When I took classes, I found the answers.

The Great Lengths (and any other big name brand of hair extensions) salons and stylists have to get their hair and tools somewhere, right? That somewhere is overseas. I respect the Asian suppliers, but I found that sometimes we didn't quite understand eachother. I've been disappointed many times when ordering from them and their online shops so I had to find somewhere else. Meet your new best friend, the UK suppliers!! Going out and searching for a salon in the States is hard and hectic.. especially if it's your first time. People will tell you where to go and who to look for but it's a nightmare. Worst of all, the prices are just outrageous. There are too many different kinds of extensions that you start to get so confused, and it's difficult finding people who know what they're talking about. The UK people just put me at ease.

They are so warm and SO easy to work with. They answer any and every question you may have regarding hair extensions. They promise 100% great results and that's exactly what you get. One of the suppliers I met said that she sells products to the big name salons here in the States. The US has a bad reputation for being so expensive. The prices overseas are amazing. You can't get any better than them! Shipping is phenomenal. So quick and so easy. I promise you, they are the real deal. So, if you're comfortable with buying online.. I would strongly suggest doing so. Sally Beauty Supply, and any other supply store, just aren't going to have the good quality stuff you want. Actually, i've never been to a Sally Beauty that even HAD the extensions I like. I'm a lifetime buyer of super long, Barbie blonde locks and a lot of places just don't deliver. The UK stocks extensions as long as 30".. which goes past the rear! 18" falls just past the breasts, 20" right above the middle of the back, 22" at the middle of the back, 24" near the waist, 26" at the waist, etc.)

Most girls need anywhere between 100-150 strands of hair. Usually, the packs you buy will have 100. Some may have 50. It all depends on where you go. I have normally shoulder length, very thin hair, with lots of layers. I usually get around 200 strands (about 2 packs) because I like them really full. Some girls don't. The strands usually come in bundles of 20, meaning each strand is placed with 19 others, tied together, and placed in a group. I'm probably completely confusing you, but the sites will talk about this so just keep your eyes open. It's really pretty simple. Almost all of the sites have a picture gallery, so check those out too in case you see a girl with the exact hair you want. Email it in and say, " I want this hair! This length, this color.. how many is she using?" You get the idea.

Keratin-tipped, Pre-bonded hair extensions will last you 3-4 months.. longer if you use a certain type of them. I suggest European and Virgin hair. The texture is amazing. The silkiest I have ever felt. All of my girls use the European locks. Euro-premier hair is a new, special kind of hair selling in Europe for bundles. Euro-premier can last up to 6 months if properly taken care of. Asian and Indian hair tends to be very coarse and sheds very easily. They also take longer to maintain. European hair is of the finest quality.

Maintenance for hair extensions is the same as your hair. Take great pride in caring for your hair. Wash from root to tip, but don't scrub where the bonds are (usually about 1/4 of an inch, to an inch from your scalp). Don't wash their hair upside down under the sink. Air drying is GREAT for extensions.. or any kind of hair really! The less heat damage, the better. Extensions don't frizz up. They produce this instant sheen and smoothness when air drying. But, if you must blow dry, don't brush over the bonds. When brushing, brush from the bottom up avoiding the bonds. Anything you do, just avoid the bonds. Use a hair mask weekly if you can.. price doesn't matter.. whatever you can find. Sleep with the extensions pulled back in a braid or loose ponytail to avoid tangling, which usually won't happen. Better to be safe than sorry. That's about it! Piece of cake.

I will list you the top sites I use to get my supplies. I'm very proud of my work and I have many happy clients. The first time I purchased stuff, I can't tell you how excited I was. The extensions you see on girls such as Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, etc. are the pre-bonded extensions. When it comes to how they are applied, it's best to use a stylist you trust. If you purchase you're own hair, it really shouldn't cost a lot for a stylist to help you out. It's not rocket science.. no matter who you talk to. You just need someone with a good eye who can help section your hair, and apply the strands. People do it themselves, but I don't recommend this. It's straining on the body and eyes, and you never know if you're getting it even enough. It's kind of like putting on self-tanner.. !

Before I took classes, I went to my cousin who is a stylist in Lubbock to help me out with putting them in. She works with a girl at their salon who does Great Lengths so she knew how to section my hair and apply them, as she had seen it done a million times. It was comforting to have someone who could see first hand what they were doing. I could have easily had a friend or my sister do it, as scary as it sounds. My boyfriend even offered.. which is scarier!! Haha, no.. it's really not that difficult. It sounds like it is, but it's not. I know a lot of people who are good at trimming hair here and there, so I didn't think this would be a problem. If you have someone (stylist, friend, family member) that you can trust, ask them to help you out. You just need help sectioning and applying evenly. The hair is applied under the hair, skipping the top and bottoms of the scalp. It blends in so easily in your hair so it can't be done wrong. You just take a strand and apply the heat wand for a few seconds and bam, you're done.. move on to the next area. Some of the sites I will mention even have tutorials to show you exactly how it's done, and how to do it, pictures and detailed descriptions. If you want, you can even take pictures in to a stylist or purchase a DVD for $5 at the most off of one of the sites so anyone can get a better feel on what they're doing. It's really, honestly not that hard.

They are put in by using a heat connector. The heat connectors come in amazing colors over in the UK. I'm the biggest pink fanatic, so finding a pink heat connector was a dream! Using extreme care and attention, you simply bond the individual extension strand using the heat connector, also known as an extension wand, to your own hair (grab a piece of hair the same size as the extension strand). They are applied so safely and neatly, you will be amazed. Once they are in you can do anything to them! Cut, curl, straighten, dye, you name it. The UK suppliers offer any and every single color you could imagine, so it will match perfectly to your natural hair color.

Please, if you have any other questions email me. I will be so happy to answer any of them! I've helped a lot of girls online with finding the extensions they wanted and i've had no complaints! I enjoy helping anyone who is interested. I hate seeing people giving negative replies to these questions. Extensions can get a bad-rep, and it's only because some people don't know what to look for! It's called being smart and doing your homework. Hopefully, this is going to help you out. Best of luck!!

^ The first place I bought from, and a place I will always buy from! Payton and Melanie are amazing, and beyond helpful. Send them emails with any and every question you are needing to know and they will reply back within 24 hours. The first time I received their hair in the mail, I could not stop touching the strands. Their European hair is unbelievable. The colors are fantastic and 100% accurate to the pictures. Their cute little extension wands heat up so quickly and the rest of their products are top class. Extensions are so populr in Europe, so the prices they feature are amazingly different from here in the States. I highly recommend them!!

Also, to convert pounds to dollars, either double the price OR visit http://www.xe.com/ucc It's quick and easy!

http://www.hairextensionsnow.com

^ Amy is excellent and a great seller. The only problem is that her site is quite popular, so a lot of her hair lengths and colors will sell out quickly. I go to her for the Balmain Paris hair extension products. Balmain is the rolls-royce of extensions.

http://www.doctoredlocks.com/store/demo/...

^ They feature amazing products, as well as everything you need to know about extensions.

http://www.hairextensionguide.com

^ In case the other site gets a little confusing, try going there. They will tell you anything and everything you are wanting to know, and they also feature some product sites.

http://www.doctoredlocks.com/store/color...

^ A complete list of the colors hair extensions will come in. They have every shade of brown, blonde.. you name it. They even have crazy, wild colors in case the mood strikes you to throw in a few hot pink strands here and there! The numbers are the same as in site (example #613, platinum blonde.. you will see #613 featured on any and every hair extension supply site).

http://www.freewebs.com/hothedz/pretippe...

^ Wonderful European locks. Notice that they feature 'I-tip, U-tip'. This means the bonded tip of the strands is shaped as either an I (stick) or a U (like a nail). I use the U-tip, but either is fine.

I do not recommend Ebay!! You never know who you're buying from. I tried it once just to see, and I was right when I worried about the quality. Ebay sellers never produce a full description of their products.. so the hair you're buying may not be what you expected. Just a tip!

http://www.thefunkyhaircompany.com/index...

^ I've never bought from them, only because the longest they go is 22" (falling to about the middle of the back). But thefunkyhaircompany has great ratings and recommendations!

This is just a taste of the sites I am dedicated to. If you have any other questions at all, please let me know.. and again, best of luck! You will be a lifetime hair extension-ee yet! :)

I am looking into hair extensions for some one who already has natural hair that is between 22 and 2

long. And thick.I know your wandering why bother if I really don't need it to begin with. But I have ben growing my hair for years and my goal length is past my butt.So I am wanting to find some hair extensions to make some one's hair long when they already have long hair.I am wanting to find it to where it makes it past my butt.I am a brunette so I am in need of dark hair. And not wanting to spend tons of money for it but not wanting cheap style hair either.I am wanting to order it online because I am unable to locate this locally. But all my searches online have failed.I can not find exactually what I am looking for.But do they even make hair extensions that long? I am really in need of everyones help to locate links to this please. If some one finds a link to where the hair extensions are way past the butt then please post.Even leg long hair would be awesome.I just want to give this a try mainly without it costing me a house payment. Please anyone who can find this post all you can find.

I am looking into hair extensions for some one who already has natural hair that is between 22 and 24 inches?

hello - i'm a white woman as well, i have put hair extensions in both professionally and by a friend. I would highly recommend you don't put them in, for several reasons. number one, you probably won't find them as long as you want them to begin with... two, when i had them put in my hair and then taken out my hair looked like hell, it was broken and just badly damaged all around. I really don't think it works all that well on a caucasian person's hair - it just really damages it because of the texture... and that would really stink if you took all that time to grow out your hair and then had to cut it all off because it was all broken. third reason i would not get it done is because it is really really going to pull on your scalp, if you've already got thick hair and then add in a ton more, not to mention hair that long... it is going to pull like hell and really break your natural hair. finally, for all of the damage, and the time it takes to put in your hair, not to mention the $ that you will spend on good hair, it is only going to last 3 weeks or so (after that it is going to start looking really ratty)... hope this helped

Getting Hair extensions, bad idea?

i get my hair relaxed every few months, and a couple times ago, a lady tried to do my hair, but ended up breaking off a bunch of my hair, around the hairline especially. Now there is only about 1-2 inches around my hairline. I really want extensions because, it will make my hair look healthier, and you wont be able to tell it's short. is this a good idea? I have never had hair extensions before, so please give me some information about it, and possibly tell me where to get it done?

Getting Hair extensions, bad idea?

Disadvantages Of Hair Extensions

It is a well known fact that hair extensions can do damage to your natural hair. The glue that is attached to your natural hair can burn and split the ends of your hair. This means that you will almost always be required to have the ends of your hair cut after the extensions are removed.

Also, if a lot of long or heavy extensions are added, this applies additional pressure to your scalp. One of the dangers of extra pressure to your scalp can be a thinning of your natural hair. In some cases there have been reports of headaches from the added weight of the hair or allergies to the bonding glue that is used. Everyone is different and will react to hair extensions in a different way. They are not necessarily good or bad. It depends on a number of factors that you have to consider.

If you are trying to grow your hair long, you might want to think seriously of the potential damage the hair extensions could do to your long hair quest. However, if you only would like a new look for a few months and are prepared to lose some inches along with the extensions, they can be a great solution.

The best advice is to find an expert at hair extensions and discuss all the pros and cons of the instant hair look.

Advantages Of Hair Extensions

Hair extensions can be a lot of fun if you are aware of the risks and the procedures. If you get good advice and find a professional who is skilled at extensions here are some of the advantages you can enjoy:

1. You have an instant new look that is fairly easy to care for once it is applied.

2. You can change the look at any time and know that the long hair has a limited life cycle.

3. You can have an intricate patterns of different colors or beads added to the extension without additional damage to your hair.

4. You can try the look and feel of long hair before you decide to invest a lot of time and energy growing your own.

Hair extensions for wedding day? Help ladies?

I just want some information.. Just in case my hair does not get as long as I would like it to and I would also like to add some volume into it, I was thinking about extensions for my wedding day. I have baby fine, very thin, pin straight hair. The length right now is about to the bottom of my shoulder blades.

My question being, what are good hair extensions that will not cause damage to my hair and will look great.. I would like to have my hair down and in elegant curls and waves... All help is much appreciated..

Hair extensions for wedding day? Help ladies?

There are several ways to do extensions. One is glueing them in....I don't recommend it. They can fall out easily and the glue gets really nasty. You can have them braided in, this way is okay but they can be braided too tight and you could be extremely uncomfortable and have headaches. Lastly, you can have them sewn in. This is the better choice. I suggest you go to the salon for a consultation. Find out if they provide the hair or if you need to purchase the hair. Use the best quality hair available. A beauty salon can help you determine the best choice for you. It can be very very expensive depending on how many tracks you need. In my area it could cost up to $1500. If that's too steep for you, check out a school and see if they offer that service. Hairstylist who are students are very good and always have an instructor there helping them. It could save alot of money and you will still have a quality service. Good Luck

Hair extensions for wedding day? Help ladies?

Definitely go to a well known hair salon.

Hair extensions for wedding day? Help ladies?

I personally would not do hair extensions just in case you have a mis-hap or it doesn't feel right. You should be as comfortable as possible on your wedding day and you'd probably look beautiful (and natural) without them. I mean do what you please but I go to a great salon called Regis. Kind of pricy but it's the best I've ever gone to and no matter who does my hair it comes out perfect every time.

Please help i'm buying hair extensions?

ok I want to increase the length and thickness of my hair. I have very soft and delicate hair. By that meaning I cant get any kind of chemical treatments done to my hair because it will break off really bad. My hair is past my shoulders but I still want it to be longer. What kind of extensions would you recommend for me. I have heard some extensions take your hair out? oh and I want human hair extensions

Please help i'm buying hair extensions?

My hair is the same, so two years ago i bought human hair extensions, the clip in kind and i love them, i did have extensions ages ago that were human too but i had to have them chemically bonded to me own hair, my hair was in bits after that so i said no way will i get them again, get the clip in extensions, you,ll only need the one strip and they so easy to use and manage too, mine cost 100 euro ( im in ireland) but there not that expensive and they dont pull or tug your hair, the difference it makes is amazing though, so best of luck, lol.

Please help i'm buying hair extensions?

try clip ins.

Please help i'm buying hair extensions?

that's a bit tricky... if your hair is really soft... not sure if it's curly but... get what every type of hair that's the same color and texture as yours... most likely the stylist is going to have to split the hair track in half so that if will blend naturally with your hair...

Please help i'm buying hair extensions?

Somne extensions you get can be taken out within a week .. that way you can just reuse them . and when you remove them they wont pull out or damage your hair.

Please help i'm buying hair extensions?

Your hair is like mine, well sort of...

Mine is big and curly, I get sew-ins from time to time...

The best kind to get is Indian Remy, trust me, it is EXTREMELY expensive, but you are definitely getting what you paid for...

Good Luck!

Please help i'm buying hair extensions?

if you want human hair then you will be able to curl it or whatever you like but the best extentions to get is at the hair dressers where they do it properly . when i wanted mine they told me it would be about 鎷?00 so really it depends on how long and what colour extentions to how much they will be. I suggest buying the real hair clip ons for about 鎷?0 - 鎷?0 ?? And if you really like them then think about getting better ones done at the hairdressers :] i hopess this help x

Please help i'm buying hair extensions?

I've got some great extensions that I just glue in on a weave. The first time I had them in, I kept them in for 2 months but as Summer approached my head got a bit heated so the glue didn't last as long. I've re-used them loads of times though and even though they are not human hair - they look and feel like human hair. Benefits of non-human is the range of colours you can have. Mine cost me 鎷?0 about 4 years ago.

Hair Extensions for really short hair?

I have short curly hair, short as in its like a little past my sholders and I want to have it long again, do hair extensions come in curly or if I just scruntch them will I be fine? Or will my hair be too short that extensions will look dumb?

Hair Extensions for really short hair?

im pretty sure they do come curly...if not you could always get your natural hair permanently straightened...unless you like the curls

good luckk

Do not put colored extentions in your hair at age13 because it can get your thrown out of school.

Get beach blonde highlights. But if u really want to try something cool %26amp; new try this:

Hair extensions help.?

I've been dying my hair for a long time and I've decided to stop, but I've gotten so tired of my plain hair. Would hair extensions be a good solution ? Does it matter if they're synthetic or actual hair? How much would they cost? Does the colour fade over a period of time? I only really want hair extensions so I can have weird colours.

Hair extensions help.?

I wear extensions and the only benefit is if you like long thicker hair. Synthetic hair, you cant use any heat tools on so i would go for the real human hair which costs a little more but much more worth it and you can do more with . They come in various different colors and you can buy them at your local beauty store. ordering them online is going to cost a bit more.

Hair extensions help.?

if ur gonna spend the money, you should get human hair, they last longer....as far as price that varies, depending on the person doing them. the color usually does not fade the way most color does.......i have done extensions for clients that range from the whitest white to pink to blue and green.....so you can find a lot of colors....they can be put in with adhesives or you can do clip ons. just have fun with it!

Hair extensions help.?

I LOVE HAIR EXTENSIONS!!! I am a white girl trapped in a drag-queens body. If you do want extensions i recommend Fusion. Its glued in. It looks more natural and its not as heavy as braids or a weave. I prefer human hair but if your just going for fun colors synthetic is fine. My colors never faded but i changed mine every 2 - 3 months

Good Luck and be creative

Hair extensions help.?

Extensions will not solve the color of your hair if your roots need coloring.

They can and do have lots of colors to choose from.

The hair color will not fad just your own nature hair will from the roots will show depending on the style your want to wear.

Hair extensions!!! HELPP?

any advice on hair extensions. im buying my own hair and then having it sewn into a braid. any suggestions on hair to buy or ways to maintain or sories about hair extensions.. please i need the help!!!! THANKSSS

Hair extensions!!! HELPP?

I just had my sew in extensions taken off and the results to my natural hair were terrible i suggest you think about it very well before you get them.

Seriously, you have all this joy until their taken off think about it well. Sure, hair extensions look great but don't forget about your Ol' buddy natural hair who cries for help while being attacked and replaced into sew in extensions.

Other wise, If you do get hair extensions make sure to wash regularly and maintain good care of it.

Wavy Hair Extensions?

hiya i have mono fibred hair extensions in at the minute and when they first get put in y hair they are lovely and wavy but as soon as i wash them they go straight because they are straight hair extensions - and the only way they go wavy again is to do the whole head with heated rollers - which takes forever - do you know where i can but wavy hair extensions that dont go back straight ???? not clip in ones !!! thanxs xxx

Wavy Hair Extensions?

U WILL HAVE TO GO TO A HAIR DRESSER WHOLE SALERS AND THEY WILL GIVE YOU WAVY EXTENTIONS AND THEN U WILL BE ABLE TO TAKE THEM TO THE HAIRDRESSERS TO GET THEM FITTED

Wavy Hair Extensions?

There are some cosmetic retailers that sell them... but it depends heavily on where you leave. If you're in London, try Stratford in East London. Wonder around the shopping complex and you will find load of cometic shops which sell hair extension.... including the curly ones.

Wavy Hair Extensions?

i provide hair extensions as a service and i am sorry to say that the mono fibre ones will not stay straight the only way to get and keep straight ones is to have 100% human extensions. sorry!!!!!!!

Hair Extensions- What are the best for your hair? Professionals Only Please?

I recently got hair extensions... hot glue, professionally done, very expensive

They look amazing but alot have fallen out (7 in 5 weeks) and when they fall out it does appear some hair has borken off with them which i was told would NOT happen.

I take very good care of them, use the rigth products, comb and brush gently, etc etc

My friend has them too (also professional) which were clamped on. Hers have lasted alot longer, she loses maybe 5 in four months with each redo

I am wondering if I should get them again (LOVE then way they look) but want to get my monies worth and more importantly DO NOT want to damage my hair which is already fine wavy blonde fragile no matter how well I care for it

Please advise on your PROFESSIONAL opinion of best extensions to use, if they are OK for hair, etc

Thanks

Hair Extensions- What are the best for your hair? Professionals Only Please?

I understand what you're going through, I've been through all of this.

I've had the famous "Great Lengths" extensions from the salon, they were cool except for the $1200+ bill, which I heard is less expensive than other places. Still for me, that was expensive and I just couldn't afford that except for my wedding. (And by the way, the keratin bonds can damage the hair even though they say they don't)

Your friend might have the same ones I sell, and I have them in my hair all the time. They're a hit! You can style them, dye them, curl them, they are luxurious 100% Remy human hair.

People always comment on how great my hair looks. These extensions are very natural, affordable, and you can do them at home yourself like I did. The best part?

No Glue, No Heat, No Chemicals, No Damage.

Hair Extensions- What are the best for your hair? Professionals Only Please?

Hey i had hair ext for 5 months last year glued ones too. But only 1 extension fell out.to be honest you cant really treat them like real hair because there pretty fragile. Treat them gently and don't wash them too much this also lossens the glue. From exprince big, HUGE! knotts can develop so make suere someone brushes ur hair at least twice a day and detangles the bonds of hair that have tangled cuz it will hurt big time gettin them out! and yes if your ext comes out so dose ur hair! there glued on pretty well, becareful with the back of your hair most of mine was ripped out and was pretty short wen i got them taken out lol

uhm some more advice would be not to tie them up in tight hair ties this can lead it to snap and make sure ur platting them at night every night in two single plaits! dont use any shampoo with protein in it if its real hair extensuions this can break the seals. also if you use a hair straightner dont place the heated iron on the seals. if you feel the seals are breaking away try not to play with them because the hair can still remain attached. and a very big no no! twirling ur hair up to the bonds! that also splits the bonds! hope this helps :D

Hair Extensions- What are the best for your hair? Professionals Only Please?

The are many contributions to how many will fall out on each person. Heat, conditioner, natural oil in your hair and scalp, etc. When pieces do fall out, the hair that is on the glue should be the hair that you have accumulated from shedding. It sounds like you are taking great care of them. The kind your friend has are called Micro-Rings (Micro-Links, Linkies, etc.). This kind does not damage your hair. I have Micro-Ring 22" hair extensions in my own hair and Micro-Ring is the kind I prefer to apply on clients. All methods of hair extensions are ok for hair. The only major reasons they can damage hair is how people take care of them and how qualified the extensionist is that applies them. Remember to always have them removed and reapplied every three months. Four monthes is ok just don't ever leave them in longer than that at a time.

I desperately want hair extensions...?

I really want hair extensions, but I need some advice on a good way to go first. My hair is fairly long already, it sits just around my chest and I get compliments on its length...but I have to take it farther. I've been looking for hair extensions at local hairdressers and online, and the longest I've found is 24 inch extensions which will really only add about an inch or two to my hair. What I'm looking for, is hair that will go over and down past my chest area about 2 or 3 inches. The perfect length, would be Avril Lavigne's blonde hair length in her "Girlfriend" video.

So, I don't know how long they would need to be, but around that length and I'd like it to be real hair so I can straighten it and play around with it (without melting it).

Any suggestions? Ideas on how many inches that would be? And a price range?

Thanks in advance!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NmncLYiFy...

I desperately want hair extensions...?

well i have to say is why??? hair extensions are really bad for your hair. it will cause hair breakage which means your hair will be shorter in length. hair extensions will be hard to take care of with washing, styling, etc. i think you really need to think about it before you get it done. i have seen friends who have lost their hair over fake pieces, not worth it.

i'm very thankful to have very long hair and if i had short hair i would NEVER even think about using hair extensions. just be patient and let your hair grow ok.

Get them sewn in, it is much less damaging

I have high quality, sewn in hair extensions because I've lost a lot of hair to chemo, and I've had no problems with them.

I was wondering how much they cost (average) at a hair salon.

Also, I was wondering if anyone can get them...no matter how your hair is? right now my hair is cut above my shoulders and I have to straighten it-it is thick and wavy...so can I still get them?

they put a net in your hair and tie fake hair to the net

Salon Hair extensions...?

Having had my share of run-ins with not-so-gentle systems and low quality hair, I can assure you the hair and the method, as well as the maintenance makes all the difference in the world.

5 Tips For Great Extensions

1. Choose a stylist who cares about you and your hair and not just his or her pocket book.

2. Choose someone with experience and knowledge with many extension systems, not just ONE. Also, non-braided loose hair systems aren閳ユ獩 for everyone. If you lighten your hair, or if it is fine and thin, you very well may get more damage than you hoped for.

3. Good quality hair, either human or synthetic, is a must! You only look as good as the quality of your additions.

4. Proper maintenance is essential. This means using the correct styling tools like synthetic non-ball tipped brushes (a good one is Denman), quality shampoos, conditioners and leave-ins. If you can閳ユ獩 take care of it, don閳ユ獩 expect it to look great for long.

Prohair Fiber Extensions by ProStyles Unlimited, Inc. of Atlanta is my present system and I have had it for over almost two and a half years, but think about what you're looking for and your budget. Hair Extensions Help!!!!!!!!!?

ive got some extensions. i hve long hair abt 4 inches past my chest.

my hairs brown and my extensions are jet black, what shall i do???

also, the does hair extensions make your hair look quite bitty and thiin?

Hair Extensions Help!!!!!!!!!?

If your hair is already long then you dont need them. and no extentions dont make your hair look bitty and thin. Makes it look like you have thick hair....Now again it is importent you take care of your extentions when there ina nd style everyday and wash them. bc if you dont then thats were it looks terrible.

I was gonna say if your hair is almost black like a dark brown then u could put them in bc everything does blend. but since its not. dont do it. buy extentions that will look like the same as your own hair.

Extensions and Real Hair?

So I have hair extensions but my actual hair has grown quite a bit. The only thing is, my hair looks a lot better with extensions in. The ends look a bit thinner and it just looks different.

Is there any way I cant get my hairdresser to cut my actual hair in a way that will make it look like my every day hair extensions?

I dont know if I explained that well, if you have any questions just ask, thanks!

Extensions and Real Hair?

Sounds like you want volume with texturized/razored ends.
